กOur study is:
We are studying development of novel and unique organic materials .  We are now studying on the development of high-performance materials, in particular, thermally stable organic materials such as aromatic polyketones, which consist of aromatic rings, ketonic carbonyl groups.  PEEK (Poly(ether ether ketone)s ) are one of super engineeringplastics and the most known materials among aromatic polyketones.  PEEK is not easy handling to fabricationbecause of their high thermal stabily and their poor solubility to any organic solvents.
We realized organosoluble or water-soluble aromatic poly(etherketone)s and wholly aromatic polyketones byintroducingsuitable twisting between aromatic rings in the main chains.
We are aiming to functional high-performance materials such as transparent materials, ion recognition materials, andthermosetting materials.....

กOur lab has:
(1) IR   (Confirmation of functional groups)
(2) UV-vis  (Transparency of films, absorbance of material solutions)
(3) Fluorescent analysis
(4) TGA (Estimation of chemically thermal stability)
(5) DSC(Estimation of physically thermal stability, Tg and Tm)
(6) GPC for analysis (Determination of molecular weight)
(7) GPC for separation (Separation by molecular weights)
(8)

NMR, WAXD, and other instruments can be used  as  common ones in our department.
